Eco-Friendly and Economic Water Purification

A new hiking/trek pole with a built-in water filter ensures hikers, backpackers, hunters, and trekkers will properly hydrate in the great outdoors.

According to US-based company PURTREK, 50% of hikers lack an efficient way to drink clean, safe water outdoors. With its new filtration trek pole, hikers can conveniently stay hydrated without carrying a separate water filter, bottle, or other filtration gear.

This 2-in-1 filtration trekking pole has a telescope design and is made with 7075 aircraft aluminum to keep the pole lightweight. It is extendable from 26 to 53 inches and features a foam molded grip and adjustable wrist strap for extra comfort. The mid-section of the pole can be unscrewed and moved up and down to pump water into the filter and into the attachable straw.

The Trek Pole Water Filtration System features two-stage hollow fiber microfiltration that filters up to 2,000 liters per filter. The foam media pre-filter traps sand, dirt, silt, and other organic particles. The hollow fiber filter removes 99.9999% of microplastics, bacteria, and parasites, including E.coli, salmonella, giardia, and cryptosporidium.
