Granted Aqua Solutions were pretty demanding, but it didn’t take them very long to realize that most of the laboratory water purification systems they were buying for resale didn’t work very well. A lot of those old systems had noisy recirculation pumps that overheated, or the systems just wouldn’t produce 18 megohm-cm water. And the systems were difficult to set up, operate, maintain and service. Plus, they were expensive, especially when you added in extra items like mounting brackets, pressure regulators/gauges, remote dispensers and prefilters. And aesthetics & reliability - or lack of them - were major obstacles too.
In order to meet Aqua Solutions' high standards, they found theirselves spending so much time fixing, servicing and re-engineering the systems that they were buying for resale, that they might as well be building their own. So that’s what Aqua Solutions did - way back in 1988! As for longevity, one of the first two systems they manufactured and sold is still up and running in a commercial testing lab in Atlanta!
